Western Wall Menorah

A Hanukkiah inspired by the Western Wall, created for supporters of Israel around the world

After a full process of development, prototypes, and trials, in 2025, 20,000 people around the world received this special Hanukkah menorah, filled with a message of light, hope, and inspiration. It was designed in collaboration with Lev Haolam, production by Raanan Shalev.

Through this menorah, I aimed to illuminate the story of the Western Wall - a story not only of the Jewish people but also a universal story of religious freedom, memory, and spirituality. Surviving the destruction of the Second Temple, the Western Wall stands as a symbol of spiritual strength, regarded by many as a kind of miracle. It represents the eternal connection between the Jewish people, the land of Israel, and Jerusalem, and has been a place of prayer, tears, and wishes for generations.

The menorah includes wish notes that can be placed in the cracks of its wall design. When the candles are lit, they illuminate the lions, and just before they go out, the wax drips into the tear channels - making the wall whole again, filled with tears, hope, and light. Before visiting the real Western Wall in Jerusalem, you can open the menorah and place your own wish notes between the ancient stones - a place where heaven and earth meet.
